# Oops! Something went Wrong

 *  Resolved [nebuleux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nebuleux/)

 * [5 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/oops-something-went-wrong-46/)
 * Wordpress 5.5
    Plugin Version 2.01
 * Any attempt to change settings (to link to the proper pixel, business manager
   account or page) breeds “oops, Something went wrong, reload the page and try
   again”.
 * Sample images:
    [https://i.ibb.co/YpWgrxn/1.png](https://i.ibb.co/YpWgrxn/1.png)
   [https://i.ibb.co/gzFvYb7/2.png](https://i.ibb.co/gzFvYb7/2.png) [https://i.ibb.co/bbDDFgz/3.png](https://i.ibb.co/bbDDFgz/3.png)
 * I have tried from multiple accounts that have the required access, to no avail.
   I hope this helps in some regard.
 * Face value? it seems like the app itself doesn’t want to fully integrate with
   the account and the permissions queries are being denied within the selection
   screen. If you leave everything at their default. They “work” to connect, but
   with the inability to change the settings from within business manager, this
   doesn’t really help anything later on.
 * So I’d suppose everything would be fine for a user with a single page, pixel
   and business manager account, but not anyone with multiple objects.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Foops-something-went-wrong-46%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi there [@nebuleux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nebuleux/) and [@hardik18882](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hardik18882/)
 * I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into this error following the update! This
   error typically relates to a permission issue within your Facebook business settings.
 * As a starting point, I would recommend clicking the “Contact us” link in the
   lower-left corner to be put directly in touch with the Facebook team, who can
   help you sort this error out.
 * Could you please let me know how this goes?
 * Thanks,
 * Jennifer

 * So, we wound up attempting form a secondary account, full permissions across
   all pages no dice with the woocommerce plugin. To be extra sure, updated TLS
   and php, still no dice.
 * Attempted to integrate both with original account and the “test” account with
   another service that also integrates with pixel and business manager, and it
   is integrating.
 * The issue still appears to be with the api and the plugin itself as with the
   other party tool I am able to at least integrate another business solution (which
   I use on the road) without any issue.
 * I am trying the suggestion from another post, attempting to find a copy of the
   1.9.11 download to see if that has any effect.

 * Hi [@nebuleux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nebuleux/),
 * Thanks so much for trying that out for me. If you would like to try downgrading
   the plugin, you can access the previous version to 2.0.0 (1.11.14) here: [https://cloud.skyver.ge/yAuboD79](https://cloud.skyver.ge/yAuboD79)
 * Before you do so, I’d also like to try resetting the plugin back to a fresh install,
   which will remove the existing settings. You can do this by [installing this small plugin](https://cloud.skyver.ge/X6uOEyG9)
   we’ve created. This will add a new tool available at WooCommerce > Status > Tools
   called “Reset Facebook for WooCommerce settings”. Please click the Reset Settings
   button there, and then navigate back to the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin settings
   screen to connecting again.
 * Could you please let me know if you are able to reconnect afterwards?
 * Thanks,
 * Jennifer

 * Update,
 * I did go back and fine an earlier version, Pre 2.0 to get connected, the old
   wizard works.. kind of. But attribute information gets lost, items with variations
   will only show one at a time.
 * I downloaded 1.11.14 (2.0.0) and the tools plugin to clear facebook data and
   was able to reconnect. That part is working fine, however still seeing product
   sync issues, partial information, single variants showing as full items.
 * It’s getting there but it looks like the translation to the catalog on facebook
   still requires some re-tweaking.
 * Example, I have an item that up until the latest editions were showing properly
   with pricing, all variants, even prices by variant.
 * Now, for example “Dangle Earrings” with a couple variants, Blue stones, red stones
   and green stones. On sync 1, only the blue stone would show, but a button (in
   text only) shows for other variants, but no details.
 * The next time I sync, it might override and I see the green stones.

 * Hi [@nebuleux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nebuleux/),
 * I’m glad to hear that you were able to get re-connected after downgrading. Were
   you able to give the settings reset plugin a try in the current version before
   you downgraded?
 * Regarding the current sync issues, would you be able to send me a link to this
   product on your site, as well as on Facebook so that I can take a closer look
   at this?
 * Thanks,
 * Jennifer

 * Jennifer, unfortunately, even when clearing out settings, the same issues occur
   with the new plugin and the permissions. The earlier version at least allows
   connection to page and pixel. Despite the product sync issues (which at one point
   did succeed with sync, but not in recent times)

 * Hi [@nebuleux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nebuleux/),
 * Sorry to hear that the reset didn’t make a difference. We’ve had some other users
   also reporting that they are seeing the same issue in the current version, and
   we are working closely with the Facebook team to get this resolved as quickly
   as possible.
 * Would you please [reach out to our support team](https://www.skyverge.com/contact/?form_type=general)
   through our site, sharing the email address you use for your Facebook account
   so the Facebook team can take a look at the logs and determine why your attempts
   to connect are failing?
 * What we’ve seen so far is that this is most likely a permission issue that we
   may be able to suggest steps to resolve manually. To look into this further,
   we would need a small custom code snippet to be installed on the site to gain
   additional debugging output on the error screen. Please also let me know if you’d
   like to try this in case I can help further while we wait for Facebook to investigate!
 * Thanks,
 * Jennifer
