Hi guys!

Here I am again! 🙂

I am trying to add a DARK opacity to the homepage image in this web http://www.empreratrices.es/

I must be doing something wrong because I just can’t make it. How do I do it?

Hello Esther,

You can try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.
```
#slideshow {
    background-color: black;
}

.slide-item {
    opacity: 0.5 !important;
}
```

Actually,
I just realised.
Is there any way to make the opacity NOT TO affect the text?

Well, I think that it might be easier to darken the image itself in this case 🙂
