    I cannot get the new window code to work. I’m using Amazon coding and adding the target blank code and even tried the lt command but neither is working. I need these banners to open in new windows or tabs. Help.

    Amazon uses a javascript advert don’t they? You can’t use html in there.
    Check with Amazon if there is a setting to open links in a new window.
