Title: Opening post.php box error Last modified: August 18, 2016 --- # Opening post.php box error * [jaggs](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jaggs/) * (@jaggs) * [20 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/opening-postphp-box-error/) * I’m testing a new install of WP 2.0.2 and it works fine, except that every time I try to post from the Write page, I get an error: * 1) In Firefox the ‘You have chosen to open post.php box’ comes up and I have to click cancel to continue. The post publishes OK though nevertheless. 2) In IE 6.0 a ‘Page cannot be displayed’ page comes up when I click Publish (but again the post is published OK). * Confused! 🙂 * Thanks. It was for me! Deactivating Google Sitemaps plugin did not solve the problem for me. I tried deactivating all my plugins, but I still get this error.
