# Optimize CSS Not Working

 * Hi,
 * I’ve just installed this plugin and everything is working great except the Optimize
   CSS, every time I active this I get 500 Internal Error on my site. Can you tell
   me what I can do to fix this?

 * you could either selectively exclude one of the CSS-files loaded from being aggregated(
   trial-and-error based) or you could enable the legacy minifiers which are less
   likely to throw ugly errors (internal server errors or “white pages of death”).

 * Great, I’ve put that in and that seems to have solved that problem but now the
   layout is going all over the place. I have tried the suggestions in the FAQ but
   this isn’t fixing it.
 * Is there something else I could try to fix this?

 * Depends on your site’s context (css from theme & from plugins) really. Do you
   have a URL where I could have a look?
