 * I’m not a web developer by any means, but have created our website [http://www.bearcountrybees.com](http://www.bearcountrybees.com).
 * I’m trying to optimize the images on the homepage, but I have no clue what _“……
   is resized in HTML or CSS from 1500×1000 to 200×150. Serving a scaled image could
   save….” means._
 * Can someone explain to a non-programmer what that means and what I can do to
   fix it? I’ve read the threads, but just can’t understand all the coding lingo.
   I need it dumbed down to a simpler level.
 * Thanks!

 * Hello,
 * Your image is loaded as 1500×1000, so its big. Then is resized with html/css
   to 200×150 by browser but still it load big image.
    So if you use 200×150 its
   good, if you resize this image to this size and then upload it again to your
   wordpress, instead of upload 1500×1000.
