    just installed WP went to the admin setting, checked the registration 
   box for users, hit save button and bingo – get and 404

    well i used “installed into a subdirectory” variant index is here

 * if you surf you can see page layout is pissed
    when i log as admin i can catch
   that links refer to as if the WP is installed in the root dir like example: [http://synthpop.ru/wp-admin/post.php](http://synthpop.ru/wp-admin/post.php)
 * and could not find troubleshooting solutions at Codex so far
