# Orange errors on send

 * Cannot resolve orange box errors. Have added a WP SMTP plugin and configured.
   It tests fine through its own configuration, but CF7 still won’t work. Have updated
   recaptcha to V3. No change. Cleared caches multiple times. No change.
 * Client tearing hair out. Do I change to a different contact form?

 * _The orange error border indicates reCAPTCHA v3 is not working correctly on your
   site._
 * If you are sure you’ve registered correctly for reCAPTCHA v3 (by following the
   instructions at [reCAPTCHA (v3)](https://contactform7.com/recaptcha/)) & it’s
   working, you should now see the reCAPTCHA Privacy badge displayed at the bottom
   of every page on your site (not just the pages where you’ve got CF7 forms).
 * _If the reCAPTCHA badge is not showing, this shows that reCAPTCHA v3 is not working
   on your site._
 * In this case it’s possible [your theme does not properly load JavaScript in the footer area of each page](https://contactform7.com/2018/12/18/contact-form-7-511/).
 * Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a [WP default theme](https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/default-theme/)
   to see if the problem goes away.
 * If this fixes the problem & you can’t get your theme fixed, you might try using
   [Contact Form 7 – reCaptcha v2](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcf7-recaptcha/)
   in addition to Contact Form 7. Once installed and configured it offers the same
   reCaptcha functionality you are used to in previous versions of Contact Form 
   7 ([recommended by CF7 plugin author](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/recaptcha-v-2-and-cf7-5-1-x/#post-11096196)).
