# Order doesn’t work when filtering

 * Hi.
    Re-order is working on normal posts, but as soon as I pick a category the
   re-ordering doesn’t work. I can’t drag the posts or anything. How do I fix this?
   Anyone else with the same issue? I don’t have any other plugins installed.

 * Hi,
    You must be referring to drag & drop functionality within he default WordPress
   Posts interface. Post Types Order can handle sorting only for archive (all posts)
   if you need to order within individual categories, please check with [Advanced Post Types Order](https://www.nsp-code.com/premium-plugins/wordpress-plugins/advanced-post-types-order/)
   plugin.

    I am not sure if that’s what I need. I just need to order the posts when
   I filter all posts by a category. The base plugin can’t do that?

    +1 for this lack of functionnality. The plugin would be 5/5 stars if re ordering
   filtered CPT is possible !
