# Ordering posts, how to?

 * Hi,
    I need the wordpress posts to work as “news”. The one feature I don’t see
   how to achieve is to let the Editor to choose the order of appearance on the 
   home page. Custom fields would be fine, but they don’t show in the posts list.
 * I’ve been looking also for some plugin, with no useful results so far.
 * Basically what I’m looking in a plugin would be:
    – posts with default custom
   field (2nd headline,order) – able to order posts according to order custom field.
   Order shown in the posts list, ideally editable.
 * Any suggestion welcome.
