 * Hi [@angusmansfield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/angusmansfield/) sorry
   to hear you can’t add orders manually via the WP Admin dashboard. Is this after
   updating to WooCommerce 9.8.3 or is it unrelated to the recent update?
 * What happens when you try to do that? Do you see any error messages, does the
   site crash, or is it stuck loading forever?
 * If you could share screenshots of anything you see while experiencing this, it
   would be helpful.
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for replying – but the add order function within WP Admin simply does
   not work any longer – when I save it does not create an order – there is no error
   message as such either. i don’t think its as a result of the latest upgrade but
   I am not sure

 * [@angusmansfield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/angusmansfield/) thanks
   for the extra information, it would be helpful if you could share your System
   Status Report too.

 * Would you please also try disabling all plugins besides WooCommerce to see if
   it starts working again? If so, you could re-enable plugins one by one until
   it stops working and then we would know if the issue lies with a specific plugin.
 * Thanks!

 * **Hi there!**
 * This is not the system status report we were expecting. It includes information
   such as:
    - WooCommerce version and WordPress version
    - Active theme and plugins
    - Server environment details (PHP version, MySQL version, etc.)
    - WooCommerce pages setup and template overrides
    - Database settings
 *
   Could you please go to **WooCommerce > Status > System Status**, click on **“
   Get system report”**, copy all the information, and then paste it using [https://pastebin.com/](https://pastebin.com/)
   or [https://gist.github.com/](https://gist.github.com/)? Once you share the link
   here, we’ll be able to assist you further.
 * Also, just to confirm — have you tried running a **conflict test** as my colleague
   suggested earlier? That involves deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce
   and switching to a default theme like Storefront. Was your issue resolved after
   deactivating all the plugins? This helps us identify if the issue is being caused
   by a theme or plugin conflict.
 * Let us know how that goes!

 * Hi [@angusmansfield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/angusmansfield/)
 * Here’s how to deactivate WordPress plugins:
    - Go to WordPress admin -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins
    - Select checkbox(s) next to plugin(s) to deactivate
    - Choose “Deactivate” from the Bulk Actions dropdown
    - Click “Apply”
    - Alternatively, click “Deactivate” under individual plugin names
 * Please note that it’s probably best to do this in a staging environment as deactivating
   plugins will probably change how your site behaves. If you don’t have a staging
   site, then it may be best to do this during a low-traffic period for your site.
 * Once you’ve done the test you can reactivate them in the same way you deactivated
   them, jut choose “Activate” from the bulk actions dropdown.
 * Please let us know how it goes, thanks!

 * Ok I have found the Plug Ins and found there were some updates to be done – which
   I have left overnight but they are still running and have not been updated. There
   are 13 PlugIns in total and I now get an error message which reads:
 * “You have multiple WordPress image optimisation plugins installed. This may cause
   unpredictable behaviour while optimising your images, inaccurate reporting, or
   images to not display. For best results use only one image optimiser plugin at
   a time. These plugins may cause issues with Smush:”
 * The WooCommerce update appears to have gone through remotely but I am still not
   able to add an order Manually and I need to be able to – I could do this before
   with no issue

 * Hello [angusmansfield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/angusmansfield/),
 * Thank you for your reply.
 * I understand you’re unable to manually create an order even after deactivating
   all plugins except WooCommerce. I tested this on a default environment and couldn’t
   reproduce the issue, which suggests this is a site-specific issue.
 * Could you please record a video of the steps you’re taking to create the manual
   order and share it with me? I’d like to see if any visible clues could help identify
   the root cause. You may use any tool like awesomescreenshot.com or loom.com to
   record and share the video.
 * Looking forward to your response. 🙂

 * Is it not possible for someone to look at this remotely if I give access – last
   year I had the same issue and it was resolved by me paying someone to do exactly
   this under what I believe was called a White Glove facility?

 * Hi [@angusmansfield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/angusmansfield/),
 * I understand how frustrating it must be to run into this issue, especially when
   you were previously able to manually add orders without any trouble. I’ll do
   my best to guide you through the next steps so we can figure this out together.
 * To properly check if another plugin or your theme is causing the issue, we recommend
   running a full **conflict test**. This involves temporarily switching to a default
   WordPress theme (like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four) and deactivating all
   plugins except for WooCommerce. You can follow the step-by-step instructions
   in this support guide: [https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#deactivation-and-testing](https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#deactivation-and-testing)
 * I know this might feel a bit technical, but following those steps helps us rule
   out anything on your site that’s interfering with WooCommerce’s order creation
   process.
 * As for having someone access your site directly and troubleshoot this for you,
   we’re not able to offer that level of hands-on support here on the forum. However,
   you can reach out to one of our trusted partners, like [WooExperts](https://woocommerce.com/partners/experts/)
   or [Codeable](https://woocommerce.com/codeable/), who specialize in this kind
   of support and can work with you one-on-one.
 * If you’re able to go through the conflict test, do let us know what you find
   out, especially if you discover a particular plugin is causing the issue. We’ll
   be happy to help further from there.
