# Orders are missing

 * I manage a site that has some orders missing from September 1, 2017 to June 1,
   2018. We had a few hundred orders in that timeframe. We did some work on the 
   site in June of this year and we have a two backups of the database from before
   we did the work.
 * Would someone please tell me the db commands I need to run to export the orders
   from both the live database and the backup so that we can compare the data and
   recover the appropriate orders?

 * It’s likely a backup was not done that included the orders and a restore was 
   done with the wrong back up. Because this data is only stored in the database,
   you’ll need to find the correct backup and restore that data.
 * You can restore this data to a staging site then export the orders and import
   them to the preferred site. Here are the plugins you can use to do that:
