If Yoast SEO is indicating that a page/post is orphaned content but is not, it’s likely due to the plugin not recognizing the link pointing to that page/post.
There are a few cases where a link might not be recognized:
• Only links from inside the WordPress post editor are recognized. This means that links from navigational bars, menus, sidebars or footers are not recognized.
• Links need to be in absolute form. This means that links need to include the full domain. For example, http://www.example.com/page-a is an absolute link, while /page-a/ is a relative link.
If you have confirmed that a link to the post exists, but Yoast SEO is not recognizing the link, you can safely ignore the warning. Whereas Yoast SEO may not recognize the link in WordPress, search engines like Google will be able to crawl and recognize the link from the front end of the site.
