Other players work, CA does not

I am running managed wp on godaddy.

I installed Compact audio, put the short code in my page and can’t get it to work.

I have done a straight wp audio embed with the same pathname and it works.
I used another wp plug-in with the same pathname and it works.

The first two work, but the compact audio shortcode does not.
I have tried deactivating the other audio players with no luck.
Can you help?
