# Outdated Fancybox script

 * Hi,
    the currently shipped Fancybox is v1.3.4, which was released almost seven
   years ago (11/11/2010). It uses deprecated functions like `$.browser` (removed
   in jQuery v1.9) which will break on today’s WordPress sites (which ship jQuery
   v1.12.4).
 * I wonder why no one else is experiencing this problem. Do you have any plans 
   to update the Fancybox script?

 * I’m not getting the error anymore, although it seems the Fancybox hasn’t been
   updated with the release of v3.
 * Anyway, closing this.
