 * Hello guys,
 * The “Google Analytics by MonsterInsights” plugin is outdated for the current
   version of WP 4.7. Are not you going to update this plugin anymore?
    Does keeping
   it outdated can hurt my website in terms of performance for page loads?
 * I thank you.
    Rodrigo

 * Hi there,
    On the contrary we’re getting ready to launch a rewrite of the plugin
   [https://www.monsterinsights.com/whats-coming-monsterinsights-6-0-sneak-peak/](https://www.monsterinsights.com/whats-coming-monsterinsights-6-0-sneak-peak/)
 * We’ll be issuing another update later this week to fix a couple bugs and update
   the tested to version (which is an oversight as I work on WordPress core).
 * MonsterInsights doesn’t impact page load times at all as we use asynchronous
   loaded JavaScript.

 * Hello Chriscct7,
 * Thanks for the feedback.
 * I would like to take advantage of and know if the plugin works well for Network
   Multsite in Subdomain version?
    What if I can create Google analysis separately
   for each subdomain with the plugin of yours?
 * And another thing is also … in the plugin, in the section “Advanced”> “Set the
   path for internal links to track external links .:”, I inserted to track two
   links (/comprar/ and /go/) that are Internal links that redirect to external
   links.
    The link /comprar/ is used in buttons of digital products where each
   button has a specific ID allied to an external link (ex.: [http://proddigital.com.br/comprar/?prod=2426](http://proddigital.com.br/comprar/?prod=2426)).
   And the /go/ link is generated by the “Affiliate Links” plugin to create internal
   links that redirect to external links (ex.: [http://proddigital.com.br/go/ingles-winner-curso-gratis-de-expressoes/](http://proddigital.com.br/go/ingles-winner-curso-gratis-de-expressoes/)).
 * But the two links I set up in the “MonsterInsights” plugin are not being tracked
   by Google Analytics because in my Analytics panel it shows that the two links
   have 0 hits.
 * What can I be doing wrong?
 * Thank you and I await.

 * Hi there,
    > can create Google analysis separately for each subdomain with the
   plugin of yours?
 * Yep, we support this.
 * As for the links, make sure you are testing in incognito/private browsing mode
   of your browser as MonsterInsights does not track logged in administrator users
   by default (to prevent site owners from skewing their own Google Analytics data).
   If you continue to have issues with this, we’ll need to likely log in and take
   a look, so if you could contact us via monsterinsights.com/contact
 * Thanks,
    -Chris

 * Hi there,
    We’re 100% compatible with 4.7.1 (I’m a member of WordPress Core’s
   security team which issues all of the x.y.z WordPress core point releases that
   deal with security, so when in doubt, we’re always compatible).
 * We decided not to issue an update we had planned to up the version in the readme,
   as well as correct a bug to avoid confusion/upgrade fatigue with the larger 6.0
   release we’re about to do.
 * We’ve got completely new versions of the lite, pro and addon plugins, along with
   a completely new website and new documentation on the way. Crossing fingers,
   we should have them out next week. We just have some housekeeping stuff left
   to do.

 * Hello Chris,
 * For me to have separate stats from a subdomain, I need to authenticate my Google
   Analytics and choose a specific property for the subdomain, or I can choose the
   general property (main domain) of the GA that the plugin itself can only collect
   subdomain traffic ?
 * Thank you,
    Rodrigo

 * Hi there,
    If you need separate statistics for a subdomain, keep using the same
   setup you already have and simply add a view with a filter for the subdomain:
   [https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1009714?hl=en](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1009714?hl=en)
   to add the view
 * Then Admin > View (+create new or select one just made) > Filters (+new) > “include
   only” + “traffic to the hostname” + “that contain” + ‘subdomain.host.com’

 * Hi Chris,
 * Is there a difference between the “Google Analytics by Monster Insights” plugin
   and the “MonsterInsights – eCommerce Addon”. I seem to have both on my WP and
   not sure what the difference is/which one is actually connected to Google Analytics
   and functioning.

 * Google Analytics by Monster Insights is the Lite base plugin, the one we distribute
   here for free on WordPress.org. This plugin connects with Google Analytics and
   holds all of your GA settings. The eCommerce addon is a paid addon from our site
   and automatically sends your eCommerce data from WooCommerce and Easy Digital
   Downloads to Google Analytics, so you can use the Google Analytics eCommerce
   functionality.
