# Outdated ‘security update available’ notifications

 * Hi there,
 * I have a couple sites that have been sending this notification for a few weeks
   now:
 * Plugin: WPvivid Backup Plugin
   Your version: 0.9.113New version: 0.9.117
 * The thing is that I updated the plugin a long time ago – and the newest version
   is actually 0.9.118 (as of 1 week ago).
 * So it seems like the notification is stuck somehow.
 * Any ideas how to fix this?

 * Could you try to deactivate NinjaFirewal from the “Plugins” page, and then reactivate
   it.

 * I tried deactivating NF as well as toggling on/off the security notifications.
   Still stuck somehow.

 * I can’t reproduce the issue.
   If you go to the WordPress “Plugins” page, do you
   see the NinjaFirewall red notice below the WPvivid Backup plugin, similarly to
   this one:

 * I think I finally figured it out.
 * I have a failover server, and for some reason these two sites weren’t syncing
   properly. So I was getting the notifications from the failover install – even
   though it appeared to be coming from the live site.
