# Overwriting Database

 * I am curious if you can help with this scenario. I finish a new site on a development
   url such as mysite.com/clientsite on my web hosting plan. Then put a fresh install
   of wp on a new clients url using softaculous on their hosting plan. Then clone
   the dev site using wpclone, and then import that clone into the new site using
   wpclone.
 * Will the site then be using the database from the dev site I made on my hosting
   plan, or the database from the clients wp install on their host?
