 * Hi there,
 * Somehow while editing my WordPress site’s CSS file I have managed to alter some
   of the CSS for my Dashboard which controls the button colours and I cannot figure
   out how to change it back. It isn’t too much of an issue but it does make it
   very confusing when saving draft posts etc.
 * Which file would I need to re-upload and where to restore my Dashboard’s styles
   back to default?
 * Cheers,
 * KugarWeb

 * Try re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from
   a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of
   files & folder before uploading the new ones.

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks very much for the quick reply.
    Uploading the folders and files in question
   didn’t solve the problem but it did help me work out what it could be…and was.
 * Basically upon editing one of my plugins’ css files, somehow the code had gone
   awry and also altered the button styling within WordPress itself as well as my
   blog page.
 * This leaves me with a bit of an odd problem – surely the buttons and styling
   work off completely unrelated stylesheets and therefore cannot be altered or
   interchanged with each other? For some reason the styling is overlapping…any
   suggestions please? 🙂
 * Thank you for your help so far!
 * Cheers,
 * KugarWeb

 * The clue is in the expansion of CSS – Cascading Style Sheets. The rules & properties
   cascade – both within a given sheet and across a site depending upon what order
   they are called in the page’s header. The last sheet takes priority etc etc.
 * Try deactivating that plugin and see if that helps.
