Oxygen Theme Display Issues
-
Hey everyone! I just made the transition from wordpress.com to .org, and I’m trying to recreate my old site with Oxygen. My new site is http://www.huntingforgod.org and my old one is http://huntingforgod.wordpress.com/.
These are some of the issues and questions I’ve uncovered thus far:
1. My old website allowed me to choose a background image, as well as maintain a solid background color behind the text. How can I set the new site up to do the same?
2. The slider on my home page doesn’t seem to be displaying images properly… The magnified version of the images are covering the thumbnails on the bottom. How can I resolve this?
3. I understand that the “sticky” functionality for adding posts to the slider is a little different in this version, but once I’ve got my posts set up as featured/primary/secondary, will I have to manually go in and edit those settings on each post when I add a new to keep them flowing properly?I knew going in that it would take some time to work out the kinks, but I’m running into some issues that are feeling just a touch out of my league at the moment. If any of you could point me in the right direction, I’d greatly appreciate it.
