# Packaging weight

 * Is it possible to add the weight of packaging as a separate item before making
   the shipping calculation ?
 * For example: If I send one book, the shipping cost should be calculated on the
   weight of the book + the weight of the packaging. But if I send two books, the
   shipping cost is the weight of two books + the same weight of the packaging.
 * If I add the weight of the packaging to the product weight on the product page
   then the the total weight is overestimated if two or more copies of the book 
   are added to the basket, and the customer could be overcharged.
 * As my sales volume is low, I am only using the free version of Woocommerce and
   related plugins or extensions.
