Page Edits Not Happening

    I am very new to WordPress and so this is most likely down to something silly I have done but, my page edits don’t seem to have any effect.
    Not on the live page nor on the preview page

    The example page in the link shows a white lorry and a “Contact Us” button, neither of which I cannot see in the WordPress editing page

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ianjlowe
    Question: After editing do you click on the update button?

    Also the link you have provided opens a blank (not found) page.

    Hi Randolph, just as you email came in I have managed to get it working.

    I had been clicking the update button but no changes were made to the live page or even to the preview page.

    In desperation I went back and re-installed the site files and noticed ther was no . HTACCESS file. When I created a base one, every thing worked!!

    I don’t know why but thanks very much for taking an interest. This is my first WordPress effort, so I have a lot to learn.
