Page Header Problem
-
NOTE: I tried creating this ticket here (https://shop.webtechstreet.com/support/), but I’m getting a JSON error that the submission was rejected. So, I’m posting here.
I am trying to create a new Blog template. By that, I mean the default page you come to which typically lists one or more blogs available. To do this, I created a new AE Template and set the Render Mode to “Post Type Archive Template”, which I assume is the correct one.
So far, so good.
I then created a new Page Header with a large image that I want to sit just under the navigation, and above the left and right sidebars – which stretches the width of the page. This allows me to replicate what I have on another page that I am currently using as my blog page. However, doing so does not render it the same way. Instead, the image is sitting at the top of the page, sandwiched between the left and right sidebars.
Question:
1. Did I choose the correct render mode? It’s my assumption that the Post template is to be used for a single blog post.
2. How do I make the featured image stretch the width of the page, and then begin the columns underneath it?P.S. The page I’m trying to recreate using this plugin can be found here:

P.S. I’m not sure how helpful the link above to the page I need help with will be as I’m actively working on it to make it do what I want it to do.
