 * Hello, I just installed worpress and some plugin (no cache active, also disable
   all plugin during all test), one user and some article. The page listing authors
   bios and article works only with no pretty links. The others page works fine 
   with pretty link. (worpress is the last official docker, with no custom edit)

 * Edit: the page come back working alone after send the message. Please ignore

 * I can assure you that this is something that is related to your WordPress (+ 
   plugins) configuration. No theme from the WordPress store can affect permalinks,
   let alone just the author page as this would simply not be allowed. This can 
   be easily confirmed by temporarily switching themes.
 * I would recommend to triple check your WordPress installation. The answer definitely
   lies in there.
