Page load gets hung up at shortcode sometimes

Sometimes when I go to the page that I have a shortcode on (http://christinablust.com/journal/) it will stop loading at the exact spot that the shortcode is placed. No code after that shows if I view source. It’s not that it’s just taking a long time to load — it just stops entirely and the browser thinks it’s finished.

BUT this only happens sometimes. Usually when this is the case, if I refresh the page it loads properly.

Any ideas? I’m flummoxed.
