 * For at least a couple of days several of the key pages on my [website](http://www.intergise.com)
would not display. Anyone going to the page would get an error message:
 * **Not Found**
 * The requested document was not found on this server.
 * The pages were published and the URLs were correct. There are no redirects in
   place to effect the pages.
 * They pages are performing properly now although nothing has changed.
 * I have been advised that this may be caused by the security plugin. Can this
be the cause and, if so, what do I need to do to prevent it reoccurring?

 * Wordfence normally would not cause a “not found” error, but I see that the site
uses CloudFlare, which might change the error message when a user is blocked
by Wordfence in some cases — as far as I have seen, typical CloudFlare settings
will still let the user see any Wordfence block messages though.
 * Just to be sure Wordfence is working correctly with CloudFlare on your server,
on the “Live Traffic” page on the Wordfence menu, can you see if your own IP
address appears on the “logins and logouts” tab? Depending on your server settings,
this can sometimes cause issues with blocking, but you would normally see a message
from Wordfence, instead of the “not found” error.
 * If it does happen again, can you go into your CloudFlare account and pause CloudFlare?
This will let you visit the site directly, until you unpause it, so you can see
the error directly from your server.
 * If you know the time of day that this happened initially, you can also check
the site’s access log and error log files, which might give some hints. If you’re
not sure where to find them, your host should be able to tell you where to find
   them.
