# page revision functionality missing after running wp-optimize

 * We ran wp-optimze on a big site we were having speed issues with – it worked 
   great we noticed an improvement in speed right away especially when editing.
 *  But… while we are glad our hundreds and hundreds of page revisions are purged
   we also seem to have lost the page revision functionality in total. the option
   for revisions no longer shows in screen options.
 * How do we re-enable page revisions – this is a site the client periodically edits
   and I periodically have to fix. I would be happy to keep the last 5 revisions
   but I need the page revision functionality.
 * How do I recover this.

 * Ok – I am an idiot – in my defense – lots of deadlines and little sleep. The 
   page revisions aren’t gone they seem to just have moved from screen options into
   the status section of the page/post probably in one of the last couple updates
   and I just didn’t notice before.
