 * Hi
    Before I managed to find the css thingy that would change the post and page
   content from being a tiny thin column, and fill the available area.
 * After an update (where I forgot to keep a copy of my altered css) I cannot now
   find that css line.
 * So, the question is, How do I change the width of a page/post in Twenty Fourteen?
 * Thanks

 * Hello,
    I finally got around to try the above solution, but unfortunately it
   doesnt work. [https://www.webhostface.com/kb/knowledgebase/how-to-make-wordpress-twenty-fourteen-theme-full-width/](https://www.webhostface.com/kb/knowledgebase/how-to-make-wordpress-twenty-fourteen-theme-full-width/)
 * I dont understand that when I disable the max-width entry using the Chrome inspect
   function, it works EXACTLY as I want.. However, this is of course only temporary,
   when I try to do it in the CSS it doesnt work.
    NOT LIKE THIS  LIKE THIS
 * Please SOMEONE help!! Its driving me nuts!

 * This theme has some good features but having to work so hard to try to make pages
   look normal only to find the solution offered does not work is painful. Thanks
   for opening up the discussion, Mark. I look forward to hearing good news that
   the theme has been updated to remove the problem altogether or in such a way
   that there is a readily available option to make pages full size.
