So I hope to finally get my sites moved over to WP soon & these sites are pretty large.

When creating pages, should I use the page or post feature?

Normally I’d say posts b/c I got the feeling that posts are picked up by the SEs faster than pages, but I’m not sure about that, so if someone knows the answer to that too, that would be great.

    Thanks

    Michelle

use plugin like http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/, you can configure the pages/posts/etc priority.

then submit the sitemap into google webmaster, just in days (usually) your site will be indexed by google.

    I guess I didn’t make myself clear.

I wanted to know which gets picked up by the SEs quicker & when creating my site that is large & there won’t be comments, should I use pages only or pages & posts.

it is near to same (i think), but due pages = static pages it will less crawled by SE (except you set the priority in sitemap).

How do you set the priority?
