    Hello, I want to ask.

If I previously used the ?AMP URL structure.

Is it safe to change to ?AMP=1 without problems?

I saw that the AMP plugin update recommended the structure of ?AMP=1.

So should I use that structure? Thank you.

    Hello @ady0651

Yes, you can switch to ?amp=1 safely
?amp=1 as it does not conflict with another rewrite rule also it won’t result in 404 if you deactivate the AMP plugin.

you can also customize the permalink structure according to your need, you can read more about it here in our guide

Actually, we are updating the wording of that to say “default” instead of “recommended”. If ?amp works for you, there is no need to switch to ?amp=1 unless ?amp was not working for you.

@ady0651 The change that @westonruter noted has now been made and is available in 2.1.2.

I’ll mark this topic as resolved, but feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
