# Parent theme missing

 * I have created a child theme from the twenty ten parent theme and been developing
   it for several weeks.
    I have only just noticed the error message: **_This theme
   is broken. The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Priory900 overrides
   twentyten” parent theme_**
 * I’ve not found any documentation about this. How do I over-ride the parent theme?

 * The `Template:` line in your style.css should just say “twentyten” — from the
   error you’re seeing, it looks like you may have “Priory900 overrides twentyten”
   in there instead.
