    Hi,

We are experiencing the following on every page of our admin section

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in )XXXX/XXXXX/XXXXX/plugins/socialmarketing/class/farreaches-post-handling.php on line 1151

XXXX’s just represent the full line of information, which includes sensitive confidential data

Is there a quick fix or do we need to manually remove social marketing plugin?

Hello, unfortunately there seem to be a problem with the latest plugin.
We can’t (yet) reproduce it here. So I would recommend disabling the plugin until a correction release is available.

    Sorry for the troubles.
Here are hints on how to proceed, if needed http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cant-log-in-after-updating-plugins

What’s your site address? That might help us to narrow down the problem.

The issue is fixed in 1.8.2.2

Since your update today, I have the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/purpose/public_html/wp-content/plugins/socialmarketing/class/farreaches-post-handling.php on line 1151

I can go anywhere from the wp dashboard at http://www.lifepurposing.com/

I can’t get to the plugin page to disable your plugin… 🙁

You have to disable plugin and update it to the latest version. Here are instruction on how you can disable a plugin without dashboard access: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cant-log-in-after-updating-plugins

NVM – fixed it myself… amazed I could figure it out. Thanks for the link about updating plugins via phpadmin
