 * I received this message! I am a novice coder and have no clue how to fix this.
   I have already emailed the website designer, but I have no idea when he will 
   reach me so here is my issue:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home3/gen2014/public_html/wp-content/
   themes/genesis/functions.php on line 258
 * Here is my functions.php

   version of that `functions.php` file?

 * Yes I made a change and I thought I deleted it. I do not have an older version(
   I knew I should have) before I changed anything. I am not the original web developer,
   I am just maintaining it. I have already contacted the web developer…
 * I was hoping there was a way to undo and revert to what it was, but I am completely
   locked out of my site. I tried to use FTP with Filezilla and no luck 🙁

 * I was able to temporarily fix it until my web developer can take a look at it.
