# Parse Error

 * Today we updated the theme of our website, and then immediately after we lost
   all access to the site and backend. This is the error message that pops up now:
   
   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘class’ (T_CLASS), expecting identifier(
   T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘{‘ or ‘$’ in /home/arlingto/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/integration/FacebookWordpressIntegrationBase.
   php on line 38
 * I know this means I have to use an FTP to fix it however when I try to log into
   the website through FileZilla it tells me I have the wrong password. Some other
   posts have suggested you need the original password for your account to log in
   that way. We no longer have that password.
 * Is there another way to fix this issue??
 * Can an admin please help us resolve this issue???

 * Your `official-facebook-pixel` plugin seems to be the error.
 * Access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting
   provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/
   and delete `official-facebook-pixel` plugin.

 * Yes I know that I need to go in and fix that, however I am having trouble accessing
   my site through an FTP. That is what I need help with.
