# Parse Error

 * Hi folks,
    I am just setting up a new site, and found a theme that fits nicely,
   the theme is called ‘Autoblog’ (my site isn’t an autoblog).
 * Everything seems to work fine but when loading the home page I get this message
   on the site page:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /my home root folder blah blah /
   wp-content/themes/autoblog/footer.php(1) : eval()’d code on line 16
 * I have checked line 16 in footer.php from within my dashboard, (not from the 
   server files) but there are no punctuation marks in it at all it seems to be 
   all compiler code as: >>>/cGhwIGlmKGZ1bmN0aW9uX2V4aXN0cygiZ2V0X2hvdHRvcGljcyIpKSA6ID8

 * I am not a coder guys and don’t understand this stuff, any ideas on what the 
   problem may be, or assuming I may find this line 16 error on my server files (
   I don’t know if they are different from whats on the dashboard) can I safely 
   delete the extra “.” without anything untoward happening?

 * Quick update on this Autoblog theme.
 * This one is for coders only, as I cannot get rid of the cr*p in the sidebars 
   either, shame.
 * Oh well back to the drawing board.
