# Parse error after install

 * I installed wp onto our shared server but I am receiving the following error:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION
   or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/resultsp/public_html/revamp/wp-includes/locale.php on
   line 21

 * i am unsure what exactly to do but the line 21 is where the error is in order
   to fix it you gotta go to the FTP manager (file manager) and edit it idk what
   to do after that, I suggest you delete and re download it do NOT DELETE the .
   HTPACCESS file just the WordPress files (or if you have an auto installer just
   go to it and uninstall there)

 * As it turns out the server that my host has me on has rather outdated PHP and
   MYSQL.
 * That’s going to be the issue!

 * Well I suggest trying to find another host….I used a FREENOM name and found free
   Cpanel hosting for mine 😃 I am currently using hosting from a reseller program(
   it’s free )
