 * Install goes smoothly for this php illiterate and then … error at login after
   step 3:
    Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ 
   in /hsphere/local/home/rahul/curryland.com/wordpress/wp-admin/post.php on line
   521 [http://www.curryland.com/wordpress/wp-admin/post.phps](http://www.curryland.com/wordpress/wp-admin/post.phps)

 * Yes, also tried deleting everything and doing a fresh install with a new database.
   
   I have a wp install on my local webserver that works fine with the same file.
   Could it have something to do with the virtual hosting set up of my web hosting
   company? thanks for the reply

    That %22 is strange – it’s not in my copy of post.php `echo "<form
   action='".get_settings('siteurl')."/wp-admin/post.php' method='get'>\n";`

 * If indeed line 521 has the error- it may well not of course.

 * Just to follow up, I think this problem was caused by using GoLive. Actually,
   editing and ftp is okay but its not a good idea to drag the WordPress folder 
   into a Golive site window.
    Hope this helps somebody.
