# Parse Error (Expert advice please)

 * My whole blog (i.e., Blog and Admin) is down.
 * The following is being returned for Admin login:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘,’
   or ‘;’ in /home/ACCOUNT/public_html/BLOGNAME.com/wp-load.php on line 5
 * And for the Index page:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘,’
   or ‘;’ in /home/metropol/public_html/typewrittennotes.com/index.php on line 5
 * Can I get expert advice please, thanks.

 * remove wp-admin and wp-includes folder, next reupload it from [latest wp package](http://wordpress.org/latest.zip).
   
   Reupload also all single files in wp root directory.

 * Thanks for this.
 * I have followed these instructions – removing and re-uploading both directories
   and also removing and re-uploading the single files from a downloaded latest 
   version of 3.2.2 and I still have the same problem.
 * Do you have any other advice please?

 * Try reset the [plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
    Also change theme to default TwentyEleven.

 * it would be in the themes. try re uploading the theme you’re using.

 * Hi Adpawl and dirtydazz
 * Thanks for the input – I have restored the whole blog and is back up again. Just
   need to do a little housework.
 * I’m opening an new thread on why I get hacked so often (this is 3+ time) and 
   what to do to stop it.
