# Parse Error Help!

 * When I try to login ([http://www.rainguttercleaning.net/wp-admin/](http://www.rainguttercleaning.net/wp-admin/))
   to my site I receive a parse error (Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘
   in /home/content/32/5261332/html/wp-config.php on line 77).
 * How can I login to our site to make the changes needed?
 * I use godaddy to host this site and I did not use filezilla to save the data 
   on my computer.
 * Is there a way to fix this problem without losing the info on my site?
 * thx

 * [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) into your site (or use whatever
   file management application your host provides) and download your wp-config.php
   file. Correct the error and then re-upload the amended file.

 * Yes – that does **not** belong in a wp-config.php file.
 * I’d strongly recommend creating a new wp-config.php file (using wp-config-sample.
   php as a template) in a plain text editor and uploading that to your site.
