 * Hi,
 * I hope someone can. I have tried to fix it myself but without success.
 * I am a new learner and went into my theme’s (genesis: simply pro) function sheet.
i tried to edit the footer to include my copyright. After I did this I got this
   error:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘rights’ (T_STRING) in /home/wp_ksthij/
   theelated.com/wp-content/themes/simply-pro/functions.php on line 116
 * I am not able to log into my site.
 * I have dreamhost. I was able to go into FTP and access my functions folder. However,
it won’t let me edit the folder because the folder is locked and it won’t allow
me to unlock it. It will only allow me to create a duplicate. Which I did, took
out what i had added, and didn’t fix my site.
 * Any help would be much appreciated. I am new to wordpress and code etc. But am
willing to learn and do whatever I need to fix my site.
 * Thank you to anyone who responds.

 * Access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
the default theme to activate and hopefully resolve the problem.

 * This is something that you should contact Dreamhost about. I have never used
Dreamhost so I don’t know why it is locked and how you can get it unlocked.

 * Thank you Mathew!! I appreciate it.
 * I was able to download Filezila and it worked that way.
 * For anyone who has the same issue, I installed filezila (easy) and then hovered
over the functions folder and renamed it there.
