Now it won’ t let me change it at all and I have tried to connect via FTP and it passes the user name test, however, it shows this up after failing my password… * Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server * How do I connect back to my website and fix my error? Please help. By the I checked practically 100 times that my password is correct, so I know for a fact I entered it correctly. Lets says I want to login in to my wp-admin and I don’ t have this problem, let’ s assume my user name is **user1** and let’ s say my password is **pass1** for my hypothetical wp-admin. Now I accidentally destroyed the code on my website and I get a syntax error and it won’ t let me get to anywhere on my website to correct what I have done. So naturally I try to connect via FTP and enter the correct url and it asks me for a username and password. So a few days ago I went into the live editor in WordPress.
