# Parse error: syntax error????

 * I was pasted in a code in the functions.php file in wordpress, and now I get 
   the following error:
    **Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/myketech/
   public_html/wp-content/themes/arras/functions.php on line 71**
 * I have removed the code I pasted in, however, I still get the error message.
 * Can anyone help?

 * I did not edit it at all, it’s the default functions.php for Arras theme. I tried
   to edit it, however, and that’s what caused this error, but I removed anything
   I edited and I am still getting the error.

 * Re-upload a fresh copy of the theme.
