 * Hello,
 * I’m using WordPress in French and your plugin “Connections”. This morning I have
   upgraded the plugin from version 8.5.2 to 8.5.3 and after that I started to receive
   the following message, and some other plugins are not loading correctly in the
   WordPress dashboard. I’ve tried disabling “Connections” and the problem disappeared.
   I wanted to uninstall the version 8.5.3 and re-install 8.5.2 however I have not
   done that because I do not want to lose all my addresses which are already entered
   in “Connections”, and it seems that the “Export” feature to expert everything
   is not working.
 * Here is the error I’m getting with 8.5.3:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘utilisateur’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘,’
   or ‘;’ in /home/www/72c725b639d91560eff0d96885a84a9b/web/wp-content/plugins/connections/
   includes/settings/class.settings.php(149) : runtime-created function on line
   1
 * I’ve looked at the file class.settings.php between 8.5.2 and 8.5.3 but I’ve not
   found any differences.
 * How can I fix this issue ?
 * Thanks in advance
    Nicolas

 * I’ve setup a test environment on which I installed the plug in version 8.5.2,
   then I upgraded to 8.5.3 and the problem was reproducible. Then I tried downgrading
   to 8.5.2 and the problem disappeared. Therefore, I also downgraded my production
   environment (which kept all my existing addresses) and I will wait to see if
   there is a solution in this thread before upgrading again to 8.5.3.
 * Regards
    Nicolas

 * This was being reported by two other users as well when using the French translation.
   I’ve been able to duplicate and fix the code which outputs this string so it
   does not throw the syntax error any more. Look for the 8.5.4 update, I’m 100%
   confident that it will fix this error.
 * Apologies for the trouble!

 * No worry for the trouble, I could manage to downgrade until the fix was released.
   BTW, I’ve successfully tested 8.5.4 on my staging config and I have finally upgraded
   my production environment.
 * Thanks for fixing this issue so rapidly.
