# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}'

 * Using theme 2012 editor to add code into ‘functions.php’ to hide top admin bar
   on front page. Code did not work so I deleted it, updated, and received parse
   error which also resulted in losing access to WordPress construction site. In
   trying to access my site I only receive the parse error message. I cannot get
   into my website to repair the damage.

 * Login to server via FTP or cPanel (ask your web host for this).
 * Copy’n paste or replace the whole file with this original one (latest v1.3)

 * Once you got your site back without the error, visit Users > Your Profile ,and
   un-checkbox the Show Toolbar option

 * Thanks Paul. Meetings delays in getting back to my site and you. I had some trouble
   with my host FTP. Hopefully, it gets resolved today. Thanks again.

 * Paul. finally got my website back running but your suggestion to un-check the
   Show Toolbar option did not eliminate the top admin menu bar. Any other thoughts
   to get rid of it. It messes up the look of the front page.

 * Are you referring to the front page menu link for MyHills which is the landing
   place when entering the site?

 * I see twentytwelve theme on your site and no admin menu bar at the top. Not sure
   how that relates to what you asking about.

 * Try clearing browser cache (I read from somewhere it’s kept in cookies). The 
   admin bar only shows when logged in though.
