 * I pasted a word sense ad into the sidebar of my site (a mistake), and now when
   I try to open my site I get the following message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/43/
   5959843/html/wp-content/themes/vigilance/functions/sidebars.php on line 27
 * I can’t log into my admin— or anything! Help!

 * [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) into your site (or use whatever
   file management application your host provides) and download your current theme’s
   folder in wp-content/themes. Open sidebar.php in a plain text editor and remove
   the ad code. Save the file and re-upload it to your theme’s folder.
