# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected

 * I’m trying to install the XCloner – Site Backup and Restore plugin but it won’t
   install due to the error
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’, expecting ‘;’ in /homepages/6/d334626047/
   htdocs/wordpressRL/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/vendor/aws/aws-
   sdk-php/src/functions.php on line 21
 * What I found is that if I use the plugin Seriously Simple Podcasting (which I
   need since I host a podcast on itunes) xcloner will not install. If I disable
   it I can use Xcloner but Seriously Simple Podcasting will not install.
 * Any help on fixing it would be amazing! Thank you in advance.

 * I’ve already posted there as well. Just hoping to get this resolved soon as whatever
   is causing this will not allow me to use other backup plugins either.
 * I’m suspecting it’s a deeper issue than xcloner. Everything was working flawlessly
   until I upgraded to WP 4.7.4
 * After updating WP, my site crashed and I had to uninstall both Seriously Simple
   Podcasting & XCloner.

 * The error indicates “xcloner-backup-and-restore” plugin to be the error.
 * Try deleting this plugin using [FTP/ SFTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides(
   no Dashboard access required).
 * Also, I recommend informing the developers of this plugin at:
