 * Hello,
 * I recently received the following error message after attempting to update a 
   WordPress nocaptcha / recaptcha Plugin on my website. I now, do not have access
   to my WP-Admin Consul for my website.
 * “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in /home/djslycsf/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha/admin/settings.php on line 86
   There has 
   been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox
   for instructions.
 * Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”
 * Do you know what I need to do, to fix & resolve this issue in simple easy steps?

 * Access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting
   provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/
   and delete the whole /advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha/ directory there.
 * This will remove the plugin causing the problem and restore your site.

   helpful information.
 * I’ve managed to successfully log on to my cPanel.
 * How easy is it to navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the whole /advanced-
   nocaptcha-recaptcha/?
 * Is it under Databases i.e. phpMyAdmin for example?
 * Can I search the url for /wp-content/plugins/?

 * plugin folders are not stored in the database
    - do you have a file manager area in cPanel?
    - do you find a public_html folder in the file manager?
    - do you find a wp-content folder in the public_html folder?
    - do you find a plugins folder in the wp-content folder?
    - do you find the advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha folder in the plugins folder?
 * if you are not finding the folders and/or file manager, please contact the support
   team for your webhosting account.

   I’ve just successfully done that and managed to locate and delete the file. I
   now have access back to my WP-Admin console.
