Parse error: syntax error, unexpected – Easy Sign Up plugin

    I was adjusting the button characteristic in the editor for Easy Sign Up and think that the syntax got off somewhere. So I used the original code and copied it into the empty editor for “plugins/easy-sign-up/lib/esu-front-end-class.php”.

    At this point, I still had access to the editor, but nothing I tried was working. The website (plantsenchant.org) was showing the error message, as well as when I would click to update the editor.

    So now, I no longer have access to the editor, I cannot log into my wordpress account and am needing help knowing how to move forward.

    Alright, I figured it out, so this is to share in case others need this answer.

    I accessed my phpMyAdmin and searched for the plugin, which came up in “newoptions” and then deleted it from the database, so i can start ova.
