# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’

 * I have just updated to 1.1.23 and when i tried to create an event, the following
   error code appears.
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/88/
   11754988/html/inoks/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-wd/includes/events/ecwd-
   events-controller.php on line 32
 * Please help to resolve this issue. I have tried to rollback a few version and
   apparently it hits the same error message.
