# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected – I need a help

 * Hi.
 * When I was editing in a Theme php “Big city” once spilt my site totally.
    I can’t
   neither to get my admin-wp (log-in) site back. when I enter my site [http://www.ikzoekeenbaan.net](http://www.ikzoekeenbaan.net)
   in a search tool I see just this following code:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/jani/public_html/wp-content/
   themes/big-city/functions.php on line 44
 * So I don’t know how to fix it.
 * Please anyone to help???

 * You’ll need to access your site via FTP and deactivate that theme:

 * Once you’ve logged into your site via FTP, just navigate to your wp-content >
   Themes folder, download a copy of your theme. Open the functions.php and just
   fix the error on line 44.
 * You could also just re-upload a fresh copy of the theme, but then you’ll lose
   all of your changes.
